Well so much has changed in such a short time. After getting through another wet winter, the weather finally improves and now no one can play. I can assure you that the greenstaff are doing all thye can to ensure that when we get back playing the course will be in fantastic condition. I have enjoyed seeing across many forms of social media how members have been trying to practice at home and keep their games sharp, for when we return. I have seen indoor putting mats, homemade chipping targets and homemade driving net. In the Gibbons' household I have made golf a major part of home schooling, setting up our driving net to keep practicing. For some reason this is more appealing than maths and english to my six year old. On a personal point I would like to thank you all on behalf of myself and Josh for the continued support you have shown, in what is going to be a very tough and testiing time for us all. But I will assure you that we will return rested and raring to go as soon as we get the green light. Please keep well and your loved ones safe. |
