A great field for the Winter Stableford
With the weather finally kind to us on a Saturday, we managed to get over 120 competitors out in the winter Stableford. Played over a shortened course due to the previous night's rainfall, the winner of the competition was Ken Gibson with an impressive score of 24 points, beating Mike Mounsey into second place by just one point.
This Saturday is a Bettterball Stableford the number of holes will, as usual, be decided by the weather, but it looks positive to say we should have the full 15 hole winter course in operation.
Ladies 3 clubs and a putter The Ladies' three clubs and a putter competition was played over 11 holes on Tuesday and with a great winning score of 21 points was Dawn Barnes, beating Jane Westgarth on countback.
Next Tuesday we have the Ladies pink ball team of three stableford played over 13 holes. There are still times on BRS should any Ladies be looking for a game.
