Captain's finals We all enjoyed a fantastic weekend watching the Captain's finals. The golf course was presented in great condition and the weather was kind. With lots of finals played in the afternoon, congratulations goes to all the winners and commiserations to all runners up, everyone played fantastic golf to make the finals. The winner of the Captain's prize was Clive Caddick, the Scratch Trophy was won by Dominic Barnes and Phil & Carolyn Marchbank were triumphant in the mixed foursomes.

The Gawith Cup This Saturday, 21 September is the second to last major trophy competition of the year. The Gawith Cup (2) is a medal played from the yellow tees. There are still places left on BRS should any member wish to play. |

Medal 6 This Tuesday was Medal 6 on the ladies golfing calendar. The winner of the medal was Carolyn Marchbank following her win with husband Phil in the mixed foursomes. This is proving to be a memorable week for Carolyn. Lady Captain Julie Hayman was runner up in the medal and Barbra Cogan won the nine hole Stableford with 17 points.

Ladies Autumn Meeting This coming Tuesday is the Ladies Autumn Meeting. The timesheet is looking very busy for this popular competition, with many prizes available and a fantastic meal and presentation afterwards. Be sure not to miss this competition!

Junior coaching continues... With the school holidays now over, I would like to remind members that our junior coaching will continue to run on a Saturday all winter long. The sessions are £10 per child and run from 10am - 11am each Saturday morning.
